Plurkify me!
If you haven’t already heard of Plurk, take the plunge and sign up today. Plurk is more or less like Twitter, a microblogging service although I’ve heard it better described as a take back to the awesomeness of the IRC days crossed with Twitter.
You could call it a hybrid of sorts.
Today, Plurk released an unofficial API to start developing applications with the service. I’ve been working most of the time since then on a small project, Plurkify Me.
Plurkify Me is just a basic plurk desktop notification app. I’ll be releasing it sometime in the next day or so when I finish but until then, you can take a peak at the interface preview! Enjoy.
If you’re already a user on Plurk, add me as a friend!

Wow, Cody, this is looking great. Can’t wait till you launch
Can you make a standalone/portable version also??
@Amy: Thanks Amy! It should be soon.
@Adheeth: I’m coding it as an AIR application, so I’m not sure if that’s what you mean. It’ll run under Windows, OSX, and Linux assuming you have the AIR runtime downloaded. I only have access to a windows computer at the moment though so there will be some bugs in OSX and Linux that will take a while longer to work out.
Hi there…. sounds like a great idea and tool… be sure to let me know when it’s out as I have an ongoing post of Plurk tips and resources over on huomah.com -
